Everything you need to know about booking a Kenya safari with us.

Booking & Payment

How do I book a safari?+

Fill in our inquiry form, WhatsApp or email us with your travel dates, group size and interests. We send a bespoke itinerary within 24 hours. A 30% deposit confirms your reservation.

What deposit is required?+

We require a 30% deposit to confirm your booking. The remaining 70% balance is due 60 days before your safari start date.

What payment methods do you accept?+

Bank transfer, credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal and M-Pesa. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

Can I cancel or change my booking?+

Yes. Free changes up to 90 days before departure. Cancellations within 30 days may incur charges. Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

The Safari Experience

Is Kenya safe for tourists?+

Kenya is a well-established tourism destination visited by millions annually. National parks and tourist areas are very safe. We monitor all major travel advisories continuously.

When is the best time to visit?+

July to October (dry season, Great Migration) and January to February offer the best wildlife viewing. Kenya is excellent year-round. Avoid April-May long rains for road-based safaris.

What wildlife will I see?+

Kenya is home to the Big Five plus cheetah, giraffe, zebra, hippo, crocodile and over 1,000 bird species. Samburu offers rare northern species not found elsewhere in Kenya.

Are game drives shared or private?+

All our safaris use private 4x4 vehicles โ€” you never share with strangers. This allows unlimited flexibility with timing, routes and stops.

What should I pack?+

Neutral-coloured clothing (khaki, olive, tan), warm fleece for morning drives, sunscreen, hat, binoculars, camera and prescription medications. A full packing list is sent upon booking confirmation.

Health & Safety

Do I need malaria tablets?+

Most Kenyan safari areas are in malaria zones. Consult your doctor at least 6 weeks before travel regarding appropriate antimalarial prophylaxis.

Do I need a Yellow Fever certificate?+

Required if arriving from a Yellow Fever endemic country. We recommend getting vaccinated regardless as it is required by many neighbouring countries.

Is travel insurance required?+

Comprehensive travel insurance including emergency medical evacuation is mandatory for all our clients. We recommend specialist safari travel insurance providers.

Visa & Entry

Do I need a visa for Kenya?+

Most nationalities require a Kenya eTA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) obtained online at etakenya.go.ke. We send detailed entry requirements based on your nationality upon booking.
